My Volume Down button and the Vibrator in my iPhone 5 are no longer working, although my Volume Up button and the Sleep button still work fine, so I'm not sure if I need the Audio Control Cable or the Volume button, as well as a new Vibrator, so if anybody has any advice, that'd be great.

You will need to open up and see there is a spacer on the volume buttons that can come loose but it's rare.
99% of the time it's the cable so you need the power volume flex ..
This controls vibrate aswell so it's most likely your problem
