My ink cartridge is dry; what do I do?

Applying a few drops of WD-40 or a silicone-based lubricant to the roll and letting it sit will re-oil the fabric. Place the drops through where the ribbon exits the cartridge. Be very careful not to overuse the lubricant as it can lead to an oily mess and an unusable ink cartridge.

This typewriter does not need an inkribbon but a carbon film casette.

I have those film cassettes
