Check the connectors ion the board as well as on the display assembly for broken, bend pins. Use a magnifying source to take a really close look at them

I don't see any problems, is it anything to do with the power flex cable?

Every time i put it in, it pops right out.....

by

possibly, but it obviously does not seat properly if it "pops right out."

As old turkey said, check power button flex and connector on the board. Take some new clean toothbrush and clean the connector on flex and board with it. Inspect for addition damage.

Hello,

inspect the area of motherboard where are the display connectors with magnifying glass.

Always disconnect battery before doing anything to iPhone.

Maybe when you were disconnecting it, you scratched the board/damaged some component or connector. Maybe it is only some dust in connector. Pay big attention to the connectors and components near them. Then check both screen cables to broken flexes.

I would try to clean the connectors on the board with some IPA or liquid cleaning for electronics. Apply small amount of liquid cleaner to Q-Tip and then gently rub the electronics. Let it dry for few minutes to few hours. It depends on type of liquid cleaner.

Did you disconnect battery before replacing screen? Were you using plastic pry tool or steel one?

I was using plastic, I might of forgotten to disconnect battery as I tried to replace my old screen back.

Check the board to damage. It can sometimes happen that you damage some part on the board especially those tiny SMD chips and capacitors or resistors. Check connectors as well.
