Why won't the laser work?

Nerf N-Strike Firestrike

This Firestrike Elite Blaster was released in 2013. In addition to its plunger activated firing setup, it features laser guided aim. The blaster originally came in blue, white, gray, and orange but a second color scheme features orange, white, and gray.

Why won't the laser work?

I've replaced the batteries multiple times and still the laser won't work!

Options

Somewhere in your gun, there is a faulty component, it could be any where from the batteries, to the trigger, to the wiring, to the circuit boards, to the LED itself. I recommend starting by replacing what's easiest and then working up to the most complicated. This will save you time and money. You can click here for a troubleshooting guide. Good Luck!
