I know that someone already asked this question but I tried using tape and tweezers and its not working at all so can someone please help me.

Make sure the lock is filled up in the open position. Place the tape as far down on the cable as you can, fit the end into the slot and gently pull the tape so that it slides all the way into the slot, then lock it in place with the tab.

Can you post some detailed (in focus) pictures of the connector and the ribbon so we can see things.
