Daniele Sinclair, not sure about your screen getting wet, but it seems like you have some kind of water damage. I would suggest to properly clean your phone. For that you will have to disassemble it using these guides. Then clean every part, logic board and all, with high grade (90%+) isopropyl alcohol. Do not forget the connectors on the logic board. Then replace the battery and reassemble your phone. If after proper cleaning your LCD should still not work, replace the assembly.
