iPod keeps beginning to turn on then stops and restarts

Can anyone please help?

I tried updating my ipod recently and then the ipod tried to reboot. As it does, the iPod will get as far as the apple logo and then turn black and off. It continually does this a few times before it stops completely. Clicking the power button simply starts the loop again. I tried connecting it into my computer but itunes doesnt recognize that it is connected. Holding the power button and the home button does nothing either. Someone help!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

felipemlagunas, try restore first:"Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes. Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone).

Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button.

Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected by iTunes.

If that does not work try DFU mode first

Entering DFU Mode on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.

Turn off the device.

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.

DFU mode is signified by having a completely black screen on the device.
