My dog chewed the power cord near the magnetic connection. Can this be repaired or am I out $150 to replace it?

I did it and it worked! I am so glad I didn't have to purchase a new cord at the apple store for $140. THANKS

Thank you David! Since the cut is farther down the cord from the magnetic end, could I just splice the 2 halves of the wire back together and not mess with the magnetic end?

Thank you so much!

Yep, you can definitely do that. I had to do something similar a while back when a rabbit decided that a power cable looked like a delicious snack.
