Screen dead after openning 3GS phone.

Hi,

I have been trying to replace my 3GS dead battery, and have found some difficulties opening the case so I used some force, as soon as the case was open, I noticed that my screen (which was turned ON btw) died with no lights whatsoever, the three rubber connectors number 1,2 and 3 seem not damaged.

Any ideas what went wrong and how can i fix such problem?

Btw, I tried to reset without luck, I even restored the phone with itunes. The screen is till off.

To answer my own question, it seems that the ribbon cable flex 1 thingy has been damaged, now I need a new whole lcd screen, unless I can find a separate cable on sale somewhere.
