I have a 2010 wrangler that has stock lights. The front turn signals do not work with the headlights on and with the headlights off they sometimes go into hyper flash but all bulbs are fine. Any suggestions? I have tried a turn signal switch and checked all bulbs and sockets.

HI. I have a same problem. Did you get yours fixed?

I can't find it either. Very frustrating!

I installed all new bulbs and still get hyper flash, and the left rear brake light is staying on all the time and the park lights won't turn off with the key off and the light switch off, on a Jeep Wrangler 2011 2dr sport. NOW it's going to the dealer for a reprogram or new ECM gotta have the lights. It seems to me after all the years I have owned many Jeeps, They are going down hill in quality, or at least they have far too much electronics and computerization. Too many things to go wrong beyond our reach.

Hi Michael and Tracy,

This model doesn't have a turn signal relay. The computer tells the lamps to flash. If you have a fast flash, that's an indicator that you have a bad bulb.

Cheers!

I was it was a module under the hood and dealer wanted a $1000 to replace for the fast blink problem

I've got the same problem. it's the right rear blinker for me. The bulb is fine but I find that if I open it up and take out the bulb, then plug it back in the blinker works for an hour or maybe a day and then stops working again. From all I've read it sounds like it might be the TIPM. This would explain why Jeep wanted $1000 buck to fix it, this is the computer module that runs just about everything in the Jeep. Can anyone confirm my suposition?

Greg, did you ever solve the issue? I have the exact same thing on a 2012 wrangler. Display panel says the Left turn signal bulb is out. I’ve replaced it and what I think is the fuse associated and it still won’t work. No other electrical issues.

The only way to take of fast flash is add a resistor. Basically fooling the computer into believing there is a traditional bulb attached. Fairly cheap poison spyder has them for like 20. Just be careful they get hot so mount out of the way of plastic and fabric. Only the rear turn signals need the resistor the fronts on my 2010 never caused fast flash.
