wont turn on, at all.

So my iphone wont turn on. I've tried using the hard reset by holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for 20 seconds and still nothing. I've also tried plugging it into my laptop to try and connect it with itunes, left it plugged in all night, and still nothing. The screen doesn't look cracked from the outside, soo...

What can it be?

i had a similar problem-replaced the battery, phone worked until battery went flat, but wasn't recognised by computer, couldn't charge phone.replaced the dock connector and all is perfect again. there was only a small crack near dock connector.
