iPhone 5c Error 9,14 on iTunes and screen distorts after error

So the other day i bought a iphone 5c off a very nice lady.

She said her boyfriend threw the phone at a wall during an argument, the screen became undone and she took the phone to a repair shop to see what was wrong with it then the man told her that it was going to cost her alot and she also told me he was the first to ever open it as her phone was 2 weeks old. I first noticed that plastic surrounding the lcd, digitizer and front camera and proximity sensor was missing aswell as missing from the charging component on the logic board.

First I tried putting a new screen on and see if it turned on and it did and it turned on and she couldnt remember her passcode so i tried to restore it and now im stuck on error code 9 and 14 and when the error code comes up the screen goes funny on the phone.

If you are able to explain in detail what the problem is it would be great as im currently being trained by a computer technician but he is on holiday at the moment
