Power button and home button not working

The power button and home button on my iphone 5 wasn't working so I change the home button flex cable and the power button flex cable.

Home button, mute button and volume buttons worked after the repair however the power button still wasn't working. Considering the mute and volume buttons are on the same flex cable, I don't understand why the power button still won't work even when I can feel it click when I press down on it.

I tried to take out the power button again and reassemble it to see if that worked however now the home button stopped work again.

Any suggestions?
