Removed bottom panel, cleaned fans, replaced panel: MB won't charge...

The health of my battery is great, only 77 cycles and long operating life. However, I just finished taking off my bottom panel for the first time and cleaning my fans (much needed) and upon putting the panel back on.... the magsafe light is NOT coming on and the battery is no longer receiving power when the cable is connected. Please help!

Thank you for your time and potential response, it is highly appreciated!

Are you using a magsafe 2 converter? I've spent so much time finicking with one of mine just to get the charging light to turn on when I try to charge my 13" retina with it.

Hey Chris, apologies for the delay. I'm using the rectangular MagSafe 1. Let me know if you were able to resolve your issues, I never would of thought it could be something so simple. I was in max panic mode for a good half an hour trying to figure it out.

Fixed: per Apple support.

"Unplug the power adapter from the wall, let it sit for 60 seconds, then plug the adapter back in. If the adapter works after this 60-second "rest", you most likely have a line noise issue with your power source. You should reset the adapter periodically by repeating this moment of rest. This issue occurs when the AC adapter's "over voltage protection" feature senses ground noise and then turns off the adapter."

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the solution you found! This might actually fix the adapter problems I've been having.

If your a good tech, the first thing you do when you take the bottom off is unplug the battery. Did you do that and then forget to plug it back in?
