T7800 Processor won't work in 2007 Mac Mini why?

I have a mid 2007 Mac Mini and I wanted to upgrade the CPU in it. It currently has a t7200 and I wanted to upgrade it to a t7800. So I purchased the t7800 and put it in my Mini. But nothing happened. Is it because the System buses are different? Any information on how I could get it to work or what would be the highest ghz CPU I can put in there would be great

T7500 Processor won't work in 2007 Mac Mini too !!! Nothing happens

@ilbulga - Correct as the FSB Speed is not a match! Your original system CPU (T5600) has a 667 MHz the one you are trying to put in (T7500) has a 800 MHz FSB. This chip won't work! Follow my answer here on how to validate what chip is compatible Trying to upgrade CPU
