Half of the screen covered with black lines.

Dropped my iPod and the corner of it hit my speaker. Now half of the screen is covered in black lines whenever I turn it on so it's impossible to select songs as half the screen is blocked out.

mattjbyrne, sounds like you broke the LCD. Fairly inexpensive and straight forward repair. Follow this guide for the repair.
