Why can't my TomTom read my SD card?
When I try to turn on my TomTom the screen flashes a red SD card symbol with a cross through it, even though the SD card is in the device.

Check to make sure your SD card is not set to "read only" mode. Most SD cards have small switches on the side and it is easy to accidentally switch it to the locked "read only" position.
