Cat chewed wires on keyboard can it be fixed?

Keyboard attached to iMAC. Cat chewed through white cord and snipped some wires. Keyboard no longer works, can it be fixed?

Sadly, I don't think it will be cost effective. I think its time to buy a new one. I would put aluminum foil around the cable where the cat chewed. The cat won't like the taste.

I haven't been able to that since 1967. A couple of thousand feet drop from an airplane ended my running days.
