IMSI Chip on the Mainboard

Hello,

is there a way to put an other IMSI number inside the phone. Where is it stored and / or What details do you have about this chip.

why not - i know that it's done in india. but that is a job for the cdma professionals - without the software and the knowledge how to deal with those things.

changing those data is "normal" - it's only a reprogramming process

Enter *#06# to get the IMEI of the phone. This only works on GSM or dual type phones. It doesn't work on CDMA only phones.

Legally : No - you should not change the IMSI

Technically : Yes - you can change the IMSI

but CDMA authentication is complicated than we think

IF you change the IMSI the network will identify your mobile as new one (Live end device) but you wont be able to communicate with others if network parameters wont match with new IMSI. anyway network complicit wont happens as authentication goes with combination of ESN and IMSI also IMSI get part of orthogonal
