Why does my Mac start up with a blank screen
I had my Mac switched off at the mains for about 10 days and when switched it on I get a blue blank screen with no icons or menu bar.
Is this a good question?

You machine is not listed as being on the recall list but I would check with Apple anyway.

Do you have a PC or a Mac? If a Mac please give us the last four figures of the serial number located on the bottom of the stand.
