I have a 24" EMC 2267 iMAC 3.06 with the ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 RAM. The card has gone bad and I am looking for a replacement card. I found the card on ebay but its for a 27" iMAC. Is this the same card? can the card for the 27" be used in the 24". Its from the same year.

The ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 memory graphics board is a custom config in this system. I can't find the part in my manuals.
You'll need to get this one (27" iMac) and you might need to transfer the heat-sink from your old card.
