I bought my surface as new device but when I checked my warranty online I found my warranty will finish early and When I bought my surface it was open. How to know it's open before my purchase date

One of the ways is to see how many cycles the battery's been through.
1. Run "powercfg /batteryreport" in non-elevated CMD
2. Look at the report in C:\Users\*username*

There is no real way to determine this but, you can look for cosmetic damage to determine if it was used. How ever if you bought it from the internet it should be listed as used or not. Another factor is how much did you pay for it look on amazon for the surface 3 and see what the used prices look like and see if your tablet is in that price range. Good Luck
