PS3 Slim Cleaned, Repaired, Won't work, No lights

I've cleaned it, had the connector for the control board resoldered, put back together and now NO power. I tried to turn it on once got the BluRay to do something, sounded like grinding hamburg, fixed that was in the plastic holder for the DVD, now nothing. No lights, no reboot, could the ribbon be bent and that the problem? Did the pins get incorrectly soldered? I have no idea! Your input will be greatly appreciated!
