Why can't I hear sound through the earphone?

When earphones are plugged into the device I can't hear any sound.

Options

Here are a few possibilities as to why you can't hear any sound through the earphones:

1. The volume setting could be too low:

Try turning the volume up.

2. The audio file could be faulty/corrupted:

Try a different audio file to see if it's a file problem.

3. The earphones might not be functioning properly:

Try using a different set of earphones.
