Why can't I turn on my iPhone back again?

I accidentally dropped my phone in the sea while parasailing, and found a story online that a guy was able to fix his iphone by replacing the battery, so I went and replaced my battery with the one i got from you guys. And sadly it doesn't work not even charge, so is there a way to turn it back on or at least get all the media out of it ( something. Other than iCloud)? Please help i still have hope and can't just admit that my phone is gone for good.

oh man---putting fresh electricity through a salt water phone that hasn't been cleaned of all those zillions of conductive minerals? Almost certainly no chance.

Next time, get the phone opened up ASAP, and displace the liquid and all its dissolved molecules with 99% isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacy--this is a minimum. Then take it to a professional, or follow a guide to open it up and clean the board and all connectors yourself with a toothbrush.

After that, try to start it with a new battery. Most phones come right back after this treatment.

But If it won't start, then you'll have a very open-ended problem of finding and replacing the damaged components on the board. That can eat up so much time that almost always the time it takes can exceed the value of the phone, and even the value of the data trapped inside. :(

sorry this happened to you :(
