How do I fix the start up screen?

My Kindle Fire suffered an abnormal amount of weight falling on top of it and a fall from a short height onto a concrete sidewalk. Ever since it happened, it won't boot up correctly. I can't find any way to fix it. When it boots up, half the screen is black, while the other half is gray with many colored lines appearing and disappearing close to the power button. The screen has NO cracks or breaks. If anyone knows how this can be fixed, then please share with me how it can be done.

So if the screen is not displaying correctly then you may want to contact amazon and see if they will replace that. I know lines on a screen for laptops most of the time are replaced by the company. But in the case amazon tells you no then buy some of the tools and follow this guide Look here

Make sure that your parts match before you buy the LCD

Thank you for the advice. I'll see if Amazon will replace it, but I'm sure they won't due to me buying the tablet from Best Buy.
