Access ok but won't click

Question for a champion Mac:

I have a Macbook Pro mid 2009 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

I do not understand why I could scroll the mouse or trackpad but I could not click on anything. Even the deliberately hidden dock did not appear. I quickly realized that this was a problem "hardware". Having tried everything, my girlfriend told me to try to remove a screw from both covered below. What I did and MAGIC. I noticed that in the last two-tightening screw corner (below the screen) I still lost the ability to click.

Q. - Where is the problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Question pour un champion Mac:

QUESTION - Où est le problème?

Sounds like you need a new trackpad, there is a replacement guide on ifixit. They have a tendency to stop clicking but continue to register movement.

Impossible because the mouse is doing the same. When I loose the screws in the top back both works perfectly. I would like to know want can it touch when it's too tight...

your battery has most likely swollen up and is pushing on the bottom of the track pad. remove the battery and see if it has expanded. if so replace it and recycle the old one at a store that accepts electronics for recycling like best buy or staples. if the battery looks fine then you need a new track pad.
