Installed new iPhone 5c battery, phone booted up fine but wouldn't swipe to unlock. Took phone back part to make sure all connections were good. Plugged everything back in now I have a black screen with a vertical line running the length of the phone and white dashes on the screen what should I do ?

Open iPhone and carefully reconnect the screen connectors perfectly.
