Front facing camera has a yellow tint even after replacement
I am an experienced repair tech and yesterday, I changed the audio jack on an iPad air first gen. When I powered up the device to do the function test before returning it to the customer, I noticed the front facing camera was displaying in a yellow tint. Imagine a piece of kapton tape over the lens. (NO, there is not kapton tape anywhere near the lens or on the digitizer.) I have tried everything that comes to mind!! New front facing camera, cleaned ALL the connections with 91% alcohol, tried a different audio jack flex cable, reset all settings and still the problem remains! Only thing I havent tried is a full factory reset, but I'm calling the customer to ask if we can try that today. Can anyone help? Please, any ideas would be appreciated
Is this a good question?
