Sudden death, no response after hard reset

I repair cell phones at my shop. I have received 3 iphones in the past week that have no response at all.

1st. Iphone 5s - I replaced the screen and it never had power or turned on again or communicated with ITunes. I tried the reboot many times.

2nd. Iphone 5s - The screen was replaced a month ago and suddenly died with no charging, or lcd digitizer response or iTunes response.

3rd. Iphone 5c - came in from another shop with no response from charging, LCD Digitizer, ITunes or hard reset.

I have replace charging ports, batteries, and LCD/digitizers with working units on all three devices and they still will not respond at all. Please help.

This is the 3rd Iphone this week with sudden death and for no apparent reason. There is no water damage or physical damage that would cause this problem. The insides look perfect. They will not respond to charging, hard reset, soft reset, or any other thing I have read to try. The mother boards and connectors look perfect under a microscope.

Please help me help these customers.

Sincerely,

Shannon Bradford

What I do if this happens is unplug everything even the battery and only reconnect the charging port and screen cables. Now plug a charger even with the battery unplugged an apple logo should appear if it does then on of the other conections is shorting it

I tried it on the 5S and the 5C. This did not work. Which connections could be shorting out and how do I test them?

I place all the screws in the place they go back on a magnetic mat to make sure they get all the correct screws, so I don't feel like I have damaged the motherboard in putting in the wrong screws. One of the 5s's worked for a month before total non responsiveness.

And I did try the easy route of replacing every piece I could think of with complete working 5s to see bif any part was causing the problem. Charging Port, Battery, LCD/Digitizer, nothing made it even vibrate

Same thing with my current iPhone 5. Did you get it fixed Shannon?

by

No, worked for days. Refunded money and received a bad review.
