Options

installed new USB , but after Galaxy screen, no video

I just replaced the USB port on my s5, it is now charging fine. however there is a new problem. After the Galaxy splash screen comes up and it goes into what used to be the red verizon logo, the screen goes black and doesn't come back. I can hear the verizon ringy ding, but no video.

Obviously the video ribbon is connected properly, as I get the galaxy splash screen.

Any idea why I wouldn't see anything after it?
