replacing MacBook a1226 lower case with a1260 lower case

hi

im about to purchase a new lowercase and keyboad for my MacBook Pro a1226. however i have noticed the lower casing im buying to rplace my damaged one is an a1260. will the a1260 lower casing fit the a1226 logic board?

Hi Jack, not that I have good experience with these models but a qualified Mac Technician once told me "That if it looks like it will fit it probably will and if it does fit it will probably work." That may be of no help to you if you need a definitive answer before you buy but if you have it already pop the uppercase on them both and have a look. It's stood the test of time for me whiteout exception now I think about it but I only do MacBooks. Cheers, Marty NZ.
