I have iMac 2008 24" 3.06Ghz When I turn on the computer no startup sound but DVD / Motherboard / CPU Fan is still on. also two green LED is static on, anyone help me....

Reset the PRAM by holding down the P & R & Command keys on restart. Allow it to ding twice the sound should return on the second ding.

What are the last four digits of your computers serial number? That will help us to properly identify your computer. as for what is going on, let us know what you have tried to fix it.
