Is there a difference between DOCK CHARGING FLEX CABLE D821 and D820?

I have Nexus 5 D820 with charging problem. i need to replace the CHARGING FLEX CABLE. Is there a difference between DOCK CHARGING FLEX CABLE D821 and D820?

Yes, they are different. The D820 cable has a slightly larger microphone which doesn’t fit in the D821 chassis. The D821 cable has also four small IC’s that are not present in the other cable.

The D820 cable might work on the D821 but I recommend buying the right cable.
