GPS OK disassembled. GPS fail assembled.

Hi.

I have a iPhone 5 where the GPS almost disappear when I re-assemble the device. The GPS time is updated only approx. every 12 seconds.

If i lift the screen just a bit, the GPS signal is OK again. Then the time update every second like i should.

What am i missing here? Some ground touching where i shouldt? I checked the interconnect cables, and they are both connected as they should.

It is a 3rd party screen.

Hope someone here can help me find a solution :)

Thank you.

OK. Found a solution. I put some kapton tape over the GPS connectors in the top of the phone. Now it is running perfectly. See attached photo.

Can you remove the display and take hi def pictures around the top area, both the display and the phone internals?

The case or MLB is definitely replaced, so the GPS antenna area is not properly installed.
