Mayer, Thanks for the help. The label was missing off the bottom of the foot. That is why I have no serial number or model number. (somebody was going to throw it out - so I wanted to rescue it)

The best I can determine this may be an early 2008 machine. It has the 3 USB 2.0, the firewire 400 and 800, the ethernet, and the mini DVI ports. It also has the different length bezel screws. The hard drive heat sensor was just glued to the hard drive.

My question is would this have come with Leapord? Would loading Snow Leapord make any difference? Also can it eventually be upgraded to Yoesemite?

Thanks in Advance,

Jeff

Call Apple at 1800-MYAPPLE and give them your serial number for a replacement system installation disk for your machine, about $16.00 plus tax & shipping. OR Buy a retail 10.6 Snow Leopard disk for installation on this and other machines. http://store.apple.com/us/search/10.6---...
