Hi @veraoscar2011

I believe that the Mazda Tribute and the Ford Escape share the same platform.

Here’s an image taken from the 2006 ELECTRICAL COMPONENT LOCATIONS – 01-06 ESCAPE section of the repair manual for a Ford Escape 2006.

On p.2 is says that the Fuel Pump Driver Module is located under centre of vehicle See. Fig.17

Here’s the image of Fig.17 (see p.31).

veraoscar2011 & @jayeff Ford did not use the FPDM prior to the 2005 model. Since the Mazda Tribute and Ford Escape pretty much share the same platform, it stands to reason that the Mazda would not have used it either.

The answer from BurnieG is wrong. That's where the fuel pump is. The Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) is a different part and I cannot find where it is located on mine either.
