Can the processor upgraded from Intel Core Duo 1.6

I am looking to see if my Mac mini processor can be upgraded and which processor would I have to buy?

First find your systems current CPU looking it up here" Mac mini A1176 listing i.e.T5600.

Then review this: Intel ARC db looking up your systems processor specs and the one that you are thinking of. Make sure it matches up correctly.

Thanks I cant actually do any testing as I haven't received the mac yet, I'll be sure to use this as soon as it comes though :).

Yes it can be upgraded and I believe Intel core 2 duo T7600 (2.33Ghz) may be the fastest compatible processor. You can upgrade to another speed as well just remember to make sure the processor you buy will fit in your M socket on the motherboard.
