What is the non magnetic screw for?

Hello, I repair screens, as well as other problems, for a living. Sometimes the customers watch me do it and someone asked me why the one screw was non magnetic. This is the upper right hand screw in the set of four that hold the screen flex ribbons on the logic board.

I don't know the answer to that and I feel that I should. Also, is there another purpose to that metal bracket that those screws hold down other then to hold the flex cables in place?

Thanks!

The non magnetic screw is right next to the compass, so it needs to be non-magnetic.

The bracket is for mechanical stability and shielding.

The metal bracket (if I'm thinking of the correct part) is also shielding. Without it, the phone screen shows lines or squares.
