Is my storage/memory/photo's (etc.) lost forever?

Hi,

I recently dropped my iphone and damaged it bad. It won't connect to a computer nor will it charge, turn on, or anything. I hadn't backed my iphone up previously either. I have some really important photos/memories on my phone that i don't want to lose.

My question is: are they lost forever? or is there some way to repair the phone adequately/repair the logic board and swap it/extract the storage some other clever way?

Thanks in advance,

Harry.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that you could put the damaged phone's logic board into another iPhone 4 of the same specs. If the logic board is damaged, then I wouldn't count on getting your data back...

Hey Jake,

I was thinking of doing that! But yeah, I wanted to hear an experts opinion of whether or not its likely to work or if its even possible before risking damaging the phone further etc..

Thank-you for replying!
