I ordered a limited edition of the new 3DS XL and found a defect when opening the box. The gold film on the front of the case had been chopped off. Nintendo support failed to cover it and I was wondering if you provide such minor cosmetic repair services like that?

Hi octopus Ifixit does not offer repair services but they do offer guides on how to repair your stuff. With that said I am sure you can find an independent repair shop in your area to fix your 3ds xl there are people on this site that have repair shops but since I don't know your location this I am thinking this is a good place to start http://www.cellphonerepair.com/consoles/...
