Polishing scuffed aluminium iPhone bezel?

Hey! I love my new (new for me, it's used) iPhone 5. I am going to wrap it to DBrand skin, but first.. Bezels look awful. Then I found this picture [ http://media.idownloadblog.com/wp-conten... ] with a youtube tutorial. But.. did anybody actually tried this? I think it looks amazing, but i'm afraid i will screw somethink up. Anyone?
