I think I have missing resistors.

I replaced the screen on my 5s and now it restarts randomly, sometimes it will go to a blue screen then restart. Also the battery percentage will change after it restarts. After looking at the logic board it appears that there are resistors missing from around the battery connector. I have looked around for a picture similar to mine but have only found pictures of iPhone 4, 4s, 5, and 5c.

Those aren't resistors, but yes you are missing components from that area. You'll have to put back on the one at the top of your picture if you want your phone to work normally again. This filter is required for the battery to be able to talk to the logic board. Without it, there is no communication of battery temp and gas gauge and the phone will shut down.

Note: This is separate from the common "blue screen of death" in the iPhone 5s, although you are seeing a blue screen here too. Unrelated unless you also took off your screen and happen to have both problems.

The clearance is so tight on the 5s that putting back your filter isn't a good candidate for a DIY job unless you have a lot of experience and microsoldering equipment. If you can't find someone local to help you with this feel free to contact me via my profile to find my mail in microsoldering support business.

This defect i would expect from the adjacent filter---but it is interesting if this is also caused by C279. I would not expect that.

If your filter is indeed intact, then I would worry that you independently have long screw damage at the LCD shield area---did you take off your screen for this repair?
