water damage to iPhone5

Hi, the water indicator on the metal plate on the inside of the iphone5 is red and so is the top of the mother board is red also but no other indicator is red, now does this mean I can fix this myself , my screen is black with a little light to it siri will call phobe numbers for me and I can talk to on it I tried hard reset nothin I tried rice it didn't work so do I need to replae the screen set up and wat aboot the mother board top red indicator wat does that tell me thxp
