My iPhone 5C works perfectly except the screen is unresponsive.

I took the phone apart to replace the battery. I put everything back on. the digitizer connection looks great. the Phone turns on and comes up on iTunes as a regular phone. But it does not show anything on the screen.

Like con said try a hard reset by holding the home and power button as you probably already know. Other than that is there any chance that the LCD ribbon cable may have been damaged upon removal?
