Why won't my keyboard light up or let me dial out.

When I power up the phone, the keyboard will not light up. When pressing the buttons, the screen does not show that any numbers have been dialed, even though I have. This phone gets a lot of use, and sometimes the keyboard sticks so I tried to clean the keys and that didn't seem to be the issue. The talk button, end button, and menu buttons are all functional, it is strictly the keypad. Could it be that the keyboard is worn out?

Any help with what I should do would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you tried the easy solutions to try and fix your keyboard issue. I too would have tried to clean the keys to see if that would have taken care of the issue. But since it didn't, I would recommend that you replace the old keyboard with a new one!
