The Kindle Touch (D01200) is 4th generation of Kindle e-readers produced by Amazon. There is Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi/3G capability, all uploads are done by USB cable. It has 4 GB of storage and two months of battery life.

Why did my WiFi suddenly stop functioning?

I dropped my Kindle recently and it has a hard time trying to receive a WiFi signal while trying to connect to the internet.

When you dropped it, you might have disconnected the WiFi antenna cable. You will have to open the casing to reveal the entire motherboard and on the rear side top left corner, there should be a black antenna cable that is unplugged. Just plug it back in by pushing it down into the port. If that is not the case, then you will have to replace the whole motherboard. Check with the Kindle Touch troubleshooting guide for options.
