vertical oder horizontal lines ?

do you see only the lines or is the reular screen also there ?

did you try to reset your phone ?

(press and hold the home and the sleep button at the same time until the phone restarts - this could take around 10 seconds)

I did the same repair to my iphone 4 (new front glass with attached digitizer). The screen now has only very small vertical lines that change from light to dark, pale blue, etc. I can't see anything but those lines. I can blindly slide the "slide to unlock" button over and hear a click and the lines will change color slightly. I can guess where to touch and hear clicking sounds, but still only see vertical lines.

The glass does not seat exactly all the way into the casing as I can see a tiny sliver of light about 1.5" long along the glass edge. I have checked the connectors as well.

No resetting/syncing attempts change it.

Thanks for any advice!
