What to do, when iPhone got wet?

some might recommend a bowl of rice - but since my rice is way to expensive to do that - i go the technically correct way ;-)

first of all - disassemble the phone - use the logic board guide for that.

get some electronics cleaner or isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a soft paintbrush.

clean the "odd" looking parts with the alcohol/brush (odd means white/greenish residue)

don't forget to check all connectors

let it dry - if you didn't see any burned parts and everything is clean and dry - reassemble it and cross your fingers ;-)
