Why does my battery deplete so quickly?

My device was at full charge, but, within a matter of minutes of moderate use, it went from fully charged to zero percent. What could possibly be wrong with it? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Options

The issue would seem to be your battery is faulty. This usually will happen to batteries that are old and/or improperly charged.
